Dr Trivedi has been a clinician for more than 25 years. She is an experienced rehabilitation consultant with a passion to provide an Innovative & exceptional standard of patient care. She is one of the few rehabilitation consultants in the UK with dual specialist skills in the management of neuropsychiatric disorders and advanced ultrasound-guided spasticity procedures. She has worked in the NHS over 15 years and been a strong advocate for quality of care for the patients with special needs. She has particular interest in prevention of secondary disabilities in patients diagnosed with chronic neurological conditions, the application of pre-rehabilitation strategies to reduce the impact of recurrent neurological events (MS relapse) and adverse perpetuating factors (pressure sore). Time is Brain! Not just at the time of acute event but through the lifespan of the neurological patients given its neuroplasticity. Her proactive clinical approach focuses on targeting spasticity, pain, fatigue, polypharmacy, spasms, maladaptive coping mechanisms earlier to reduce harm. While building a deep professional credibility, she strives to create stronger human connection, with MDT team, patients, families and carers.
